Therochelle Moore, also known as The`, a vocalist and pianist from Goochland, Virginia, has been forming her sound since being introduced to the likes of Prince, Led Zeppelin, Otis Redding and anything music. Heavily influenced by soulful rock and roll, she combines powerful vocals with oldies soul.
In 2003, musicians banded with her to start a handful of original music. Today there are more than 30 songs that are currently being recorded with help from her husband and manager accompanied by talented musicians. This project is long overdue and the goal is to have one to two albums available within the next 2 years.
In the meantime, she has found opportunities to enhance her craft by providing background vocals for Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel. Performances include Lockn’, The Peach Fest and Magnolia Fest over the past 3 years. Recently she has performed locally with The Trongone Band at The Camel and The Broadberry.
